Thank you to the Hastings Area Rotary Club for inviting me to speak at their meeting this morning at the Green Mill in Hastings. I met a few people that I’ve done business with over the phone before so it’s nice to put faces with names and shake their hand.
I was invited to speak in front of the Metro Republican Women group this morning at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights. We had a good breakfast and nice turnout of MRM members. I received some great feedback from the women and I met and visited with other Minnesota legislature candidates.
Dakota County Commissioner Mike Slavik stopped by our booth at the Dakota County fair last night. I had a great time meeting and visiting with people from all over Dakota County and even picked up a few sign locations in my district.
Last week I toured the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Training Center in St. Paul. It was interesting to see the extensive training the Carpenters Union members have access to. Thank you Kyle Makarios for taking the time to show me around.
