After they worked for decades and made long-lasting impacts in our community, Tony understands our senior citizens deserve to keep more of their income, not less.
Last session Tony fought for Social Security tax relief – and won.
Under the new bipartisan tax relief law that Tony supported, the needs of senior citizens were prioritized. The end result: 284,000 tax filers received Social Security tax relief, and of that total, 72,000 of them no longer pay any income tax on their Social Security benefits.
But Tony Jurgens isn’t going to stop there. He understands seniors need to keep more of their money to keep up with rising costs. Next year Tony will work with Republicans and Democrats to put an end to state taxes on Social Security benefits in Minnesota.
On November 6, re-elect State Representative Tony Jurgens!
